I'm a born‑and‑raised New Yorker, shaped by a family of immigrants who crossed an ocean to start over. My father baked bread before the city woke up; my mother built her life around nutrition and the quiet science of taking care of people. I grew up between the two of them — flour on the counter, food pyramids on the fridge — learning early that art and health are the same instinct wearing different clothes. Orthodontics, it turns out, is exactly that.

At Stony Brook Dental school I graduated at the top of my class with OKU honors and served as class president all four years, an experience that sharpened my skills in leadership, communication, and advocating for the people around me. I've carried those same skills into my training at Montefiore Orthodontics, where I'll complete my residency in June 2026. Living in the Bronx and treating this community has given me something a textbook never could: a worldly, deeply human perspective on the patients in my chair.

At Montefiore I've had the privilege of starting over 120+ cases using a myriad of bracket systems, appliances, and devices. I have experience with Pitts self‑ligating brackets and Twin MBT brackets. We deep‑dived into our Invisalign curriculum like no other, using the latest and greatest technology — Invisalign First, Invisalign palatal expansion, and Mandibular Advancement. I also have experience with customizable LightForce brackets, MARPE, sleep appliances, restorative and esthetic work, functional appliances, and craniofacial cases. Each patient's treatment is crafted to a science, and each plan is created precisely with a holistic approach.

It's been the most extraordinary chapter of my life — and I'm hungry for the next one. I'm looking to plant roots in a practice that shares the same philosophy I was raised on: that we're here to treat far more than just the mouth.
